Welcome, I am Wonse Jo and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Robotics Department, University of Michigan. My research interest includes Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Affective computing/robotics, AI robotics, Environmental robotics, and Multi-robot system (MRS).

As well, I have broder scientific skills and knowledges from mechanics, electronics, and computer science to the human factors, so I strongly believe that I can make everything for any project or researches using my research experiences and skills.

Jun 1, 2024 :sparkles: My paper “SMART-TeleLoad: A New Graphic User Interface to Generate Affective Loads for Teleoperation” has been published in SoftwareX (paper, video, source code)
Mar 12, 2024 :sparkles: I have co-organized one of the workshops with Virginia Tech and George Washington University: “Taking a Closer Look: Refining Trust” (website), and published three papers as a co-author (paper 1, paper 2, and paper 3) at HRI 2024, Boulder CO USA.
Mar 1, 2023 :sparkles: I have started a new job position at University of Michigan, as a postdoctoral researcher.
Jan 30, 2022 :sparkles: My paper titled “Toward a Wearable Biosensor Ecosystem on ROS 2 for Real-time Human-Robot Interaction Systems” has received the Excellent Paper Award from the IEEE IROS 2021 Workshop on Cognitive and Social Aspects of Human Multi-Robot Interaction (HMRS).
